All the parking spaces in the city centre of Enschede are paid parking spots. Parking your car in the street in the designated parking spaces costs €2,60 per hour. In some streets you’re only allowed to park your car for two hours. This is indicated on the parking meter.


In the parking garages the parking fees are as follows: The first rate block (1 hour) is €2,50. After that the rate is calculated in blocks of €0,20. The Stationsgarage and the Irenegarage have a maximum parking rate of €12,00 a day, the H.J. van Heekgarage has a maximum of €20,00 a day.


The Q-park rates are as follows: €1,00 every 30 minutes. Maximum parking rate is €7,50.


Paid parking (outside the parking garages) applies on: Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM, shopping evenings till 9 PM and on shopping Sundays and holidays from 12 PM till 7 PM.


There are five parking garages in the city centre:

  • H.J. van Heek garage: 1650 spots, open 24 hours a day
  • Irene garage: 525 spots, open 24 hours a day
  • Stationsplein garage: 355 spots, open 24 hours a day
  • Zuidmolen (Q-park Centrum): 470 spots, open 7 AM to 10 PM
  • Hermandad: 200 spots, on Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM (max.rate €5,00)


In all these garages you pay the moment you leave which makes it convenient if you’re not sure how long you want to park in advance.



Looking for a cheaper option to park your car and visit the city centre? A P&R location is located next tot the Zuiderval (next to the A35). A parking spot here is €2,50 for an entire day and includes a bus ticket for up to 5 people to the city centre. From here it’s only a few minutes by bus to the city centre.
